Biography

Tracey Emin was born in 1963 and brought up in Kent. Emin studied for an MA in painting at the Royal College of Art.
Tracey Emin had her first solo show at White Cube in London in 1994 and has been in the public limelight ever since.
Emin's 'confessional art' has caused much controversy and fed an ongoing debate about the definition of art.
Tracey Emin has exhibited worldwide and her work is in all major collections of contemporary British Art.
